Admissions chances?

GPA: 3.7 uw, 3.9 w (the more classes you take, the weighted gpa goes down)
SAT: 2200, SAT II: 800 Korean, 800 Bio

Intended major: Psychology
Intended career: Rehabilition Psychologist

By the time senior year ends I'd have taken 15 UC transferrable community college classes. (5 of which are psychology classes)

Extracurriculars:
Church Youth Group- President (12th), Secretary (11th), Junior Rep (9th)
School Newsletter- Editor-in-Chief (12th- Elect) Editor (11th)
AWANA- Leader (9-12)
Mental Health Center- Volunteer (12- min. age requirement)
Autism Awareness- Founder, Chair- (11,12)

Essays:
I am going to write about my motivation- my 3 year old cousin who is diagnosed with autism. I witnessed first-hand the troubles of autistic children and their parents, which made me decide to become a rehabilition psychologist.

Asian girl, bay area

Also, what are the chances for my friend? She has a 4.0 uw with the college classes but she had a 1650 the last time she took the SAT. She scored 710 and 800 on Bio and Math 2c consecutively. She wants to know where she should score around (for SAT I) to gain acceptance to berkeley.

For you, seems pretty good. You have good test scores, GPA, and what seems like a good essay topic. Good EC's as well. You definitely have a shot at getting in, and I think you will. Your friends SAT is really low, and she should either raise it by a lot or have an AMAZING essay and outstanding EC's.

Stats are very good, but admissions is more dependent on essays however; if they are decent, then likelihood of admissions is high.

By the way, I believe when you say "Rehabilition" you mean Rehabilitation.

Don't do that on the essays! :D

"the more classes you take, the weighted gpa goes down"
wait... how does that work? hypothetically, if you get all A's, no matter what type of class you take, your weighted GPA (which, btw, is below 4.00) would go up, right? or does it work differently at your school?
that aside, i think all your numbers are pretty much on par with getting into uc berkeley except for your gpa, which still makes no sense to me :-P
good luck! :-D

No, because usually people only take a certain number of AP classes. So say, weighted A = 5.0. If you take 4 classes, all APs, and get all As, you get 5.0 weighted. However, if you take 6 classes, chances are you're not going to take 6 APs, so let's say you still take 4 APs. If you get all As, your weighted GPA is only 4.67.

You have an outstanding SAT, and SAT II scores. However, your GPA seems a little low. I was looking through Berkeley's average stats, and the weighted GPA was a 4.13. At my school, the average was a 4.6!! (One person got rejected and she had a 4.6 (weighted) and a 2250 on her SAT's! Although she did get accepted to UCLA..which was her first choice anyway).

It's not possible to get a 4.6+ weighted for UC Gpa. It caps at about 4.2?
My weighted if not capped it 4.55.

Thanks for answering my questions, very much appreciated.
