<p>It really gives you an edge to be hispanic...I'd try to get your SATs up, if possible, especially if you have A+'s in Honors English classes. Columbia/Cornell are reaches since they're Ivys. I'd say CMU is a match, and you shouldn't have problems with Penn State or NYU. Find something that you're really passionate about for your EC's.</p>

<p>You're ECs and grades make you a solid candidate at all of those schools. However, the SAT scores don't cut it. If you bring them all up to a 600+ in each section you'll be in much better shape. It won't be that hard if you do some practice tests since you're almost there.</p>
