With April 1st in less than a week I’m very concerned with my admissions decision. I applied to the School of Engineering in November and haven’t heard back since. I emailed them in Febreuary and they told me I was still in queue.
I applied with a 4.7 weighted GPA, around 1800 SAT, and 27 ACT. I realize these aren’t shoe in scores for the engineering school but if they were to reject me from that, I would be placed in Humanities and Science right?
Are these long waits normal for people even if they applied early in the rolling admissions process?
it’s completely normal for them. I applied in october and just got my decision last week. You will definitely get into the engineering school because I got in with around same stats maybe slightly lower (our school does unweighted not weighted). You would be placed in your alternative major if you didn’t place into engineering.
I got a package today at my mailbox. Goodluck everyone!
April 1st was 2 days ago and I still haven’t received a decision even though I applied well before January 15th… The phone lines were busy and I sent an email. Has anyone experienced this delay before?
April 1st was Friday and I think the delay is due to the weekend. I think next week you will receive your decision.
I ended up getting my admissions letter a couple days ago. It was a long wait but worth it!
