I submitted my application on Nov 26, and everything was labeled as being "received" that same night. As of this morning, a message appeared in my status check with the following:

"We've received all the items that are required to review and process your application. The Admissions Committee is currently reviewing your application for admission. Once we reach a decision you'll be notified by mail and your decision will be posted on this page."

I'm not in the top 10% (11.5% arg) and was told by a UT representative, a few days ago, that I probably wouldn't receive a decision until march. This message, however, has me somewhat confused since it sort of implies that I'll be hearing from them fairly soon.

Anybody familiar with this and know if I'll be hearing from them soon or later on when all the applications have been received and they can create some sort of hierarchy?
