@euve69 My son was accepted as a public policy major this year, instate, and received $4,300/year for the Presidential Scholarship.

@euve69 I also received $4,300 per year.

Just posting here so others will have an idea.
Decision: Accepted

College: College of Nanoscale Sciences and Engineering (SUNY POLY CNSE)
Major: Nanoscale Engineering
Scholarship: $8000/year for 4 years

SAT: 1380/1600 (740M)
GPA: 90-95%
ECs: A decent amount
Rec Letters: Probably good
Volunteer work: A decent amount too
Nationality: Indian (International, OOS)

It’s one of my top choice schools, but I’m considering Purdue too, for FYE. Any thoughts?

Got accepted as a transfer student for fall 2017.
Major: atmospheric science

Got accepted direct into the Business program, and they’re wanting to waive the application for Honor’s College for me. 91% average, 32 ACT, 1420 SAT, three AP classes over two years.

No I got a letter from them.

The letter comes in a small envelope that looks like you got rejected… I got accepted in January and got a “pamphlet” this past week talking about the school and why I should attend etc @bringmehome

It said congratulations!!! I didn’t get a pamphlet

It might be different. Since I applied as a transfer applicant I don’t think transfers get a pamphlet!

It wasn’t really a pamphlet so to say. Just said Congratulations on your acceptance on UAlbany… then it gave stats about the school, notable alumni, percent employed after graduation and stuff of that nature, to get you to enroll

Is anyone going to the accepted students day on April 23,2017? I’m not sure if I will attend. Have to hear back from Penn State. I applied as a transfer student.
