Admissions Decisions 2022

@euve69 thank you! Im NY resident, and i applied as a comp sci major but it does not saying anything about my major on the acceptance letter.

You can call them and ask, but I believe you will be in no problem. Just curious, any scholarship money? My son likes Albany. He was accepted to Bing EA on Nov 30h to the SOM so we will see what he wants to do. Hopefully we will hear in the next few weeks from Albany

Yeah i think they will send a acceptance packet in the mail with scholarship and financial aid info. They just congratulated me in the letter in the portal. I will until i get the accepetance packet in the mail before calling.

To those with admission into the School of Business: DO NOT SLACK OFF! The professors are highly intelligent, very experienced, but most of all, they are TOUGH. Especially accounting professors - you will definitely be working hard. Remember: you MUST keep above a 3.25 to graduate. You’d be surprised how much of a challenge this is. Put in the work, and Albany will provide you with wonderful opportunities. Wish I could say that I’d see some of you next year, but spring semester is the end of the road for me! CPA exam is the last thing on my list.

Does anyone know when regular decision gets notified?

Did you hear by mail or email? Can I ask when you sent the application in?

I’m a transfer student who came in Fall 2017. You going to love Albany. It’s a great place and with the price you are paying is decent. Calculus 1 and 2 is very difficult here because there is a departmental final. It’s a final where every math section takes the same exam. I only had to take calculus 2, since I took calculus 1 at CC. If you have any questions please let me know. I’m a biology major with chemistry and mathematics minor
