34 ACT, 3.89UW GPA- 4.37W
Congrats to all who were accepted, and good luck to those still waiting!

@summertimesr Congrats on admission. Curious but can you share exactly how you saw you were awarded the Maximus Scholarship? Was it in your admittance letter, on the site where you check your status? Or are you assuming you got it based on your stats and did not receive official notification yet?

I ask because I don’t think anyone else has heard yet anything in scholarships and I thought OSU sent those notifications in January. Thanks and let us know

My son received a letter in the mail Friday for the Maximus scholarship. He had previously been notified of acceptance a couple of weeks ago. First by email, then letter.

Was admitted yesterday!
3.83 W GPA, 28 ACT
major: biology
in-state
varsity captain for 2 years, lots of other extracurriculars, really good letter of rec, good essay, 1st generation American, competitive high school

@16tobias

I saw my admission online a couple of weeks ago on the status page. I didn’t have an account then, hence why I didn’t post. I just received a letter about my scholarship yesterday in the mail.

@ summertimesr Thanks for the reply. I guess that means scholarship letters are coming out.

Does anyone know when they might notify OOS applicants about the Narional Buckeye?

If we still haven’t heard anything does that mean we are less likely to get in? :((

Daughter is OOS and received her letter yesterday with Maximus scholarship and National Buckeye, so they are starting to release them.

@jbrolyn when was your daughter accepted?

My son was accepted Friday 12/11 and just received a letter in the mail today (Sat 12/19) awarding him the Buckeye and Maximus scholarships. So excited because this makes it official that he will be attending Ohio State. It was his first choice but since he also got into Penn State main campus, we couldn’t justify sending him to Ohio State unless he got the Buckeye to make the cost equivalent to Penn State.

@kau123 She was accepted in the first round of decisions.

I was accepted yesterday. Applied for computer engineering, but was placed in the Science and Technology exploration program? Did this happen to anyone else?

In-state applicant, 30 ACT, 4.0 GPA, national computer science award winner.

Not mad or anything (after all, the 3rd best engineering school in Illinois selected me to interview for their full-ride scholarship and I got accepted into Case Western with a ton of merit aid so I probably won’t go to OSU anyway).

Just confused. Any thoughts on this?

@beethoven16

What was the class rank? With top 10% of class, 30 in ACT should have been fine. Science and Technology explorations means admitted by Ohio State, but not engineering college.

@osuprof 26/790, so top 3%. Maybe I should call admissions and ask for more insight on why I was placed in exploration?

Just checked my online status and it said admitted!
Major: biology
ACT: 31
GPA: 4.35 weighted, 4.0 unweighted

@naf278 I just got admitted for biology as well!

Anyone been admitted for Communications?
