Guys, don’t worry. I have friends that didn’t even hear until super late this time two weeks ago. I myself didn’t find out until later in the evening. Just because you don’t hear back today doesn’t mean you didn’t get in. Just keep that in mind.
In light of what happened, my D is okay with waiting on her answer. She wants to know of course, but she understands that it has been a traumatic week for staff and students on campus.
Maybe they will be released either tomorrow or beginning of next week if it was because of the tragic event, that way they do not skip 2 weeks in a row.
Is it unheard of for decisions to be released on a Saturday?
If my application status is “evaluated” did I for sure make the early action deadline? When I went and checked my application portal, the status of my high school transcript said “completed: 11/02/16” even though I’m positive that they had it before that date.
The next time will go by fast guys, you’ll see. I wanted to hear today too. But our day will come!

@GAcollegemom6 I agree your opinion. School may wish to be more cautious about enrolling student and may want to do more security check.
My daughter can’t even get in. Just keeps indicating error.
@pjm1234 I just got in no problem.
Weird. Up until now it has said evaluated but now every time she logs in it says error.
I know how hard it is two wait. I’m still waiting for three other schools. Once it comes out you will have forgotten about the wait and wherever you go to school next year you won’t even think of the Tim it took to get a decision
mine is still even not “evaluated” lol still evaluation
Correction hers was evaluation as well, prior to error.
@itsgettingreal17 The portal said Business but I was told relfects what you identifed as your major choice, You receive a direct admit official lettter if you are a direct admit. I would call if you didn’t receive your letter. Most likely just paper catching up with the decision, especially if she meets the criteria.
@itsgettingreal17 My son’s portal hasn’t changed. He just received the Direct Admit letter today. If you look online at the Fisher page you should have a pretty good idea of whether or not you will get in as Direct Admit. They have the criteria on there.
Is there anyway to confirm if I met the early action deadline? Status says evaluation and I know I had everything in on time but it says my transcript status was changed to completed on November 2nd (after the deadline)
@hahsndh I would call admissions on Monday. That happened to us two years ago. We called and they were very helpful. We were assured it was early action and the date posted was the date it was processed. Not sure if that’s the case for you or not. Now a sophomore at Ohio State with scholarships and loving every minute of it.
I know a lot of well-qualified kids who applied by the EA deadline and haven’t received a decision yet. I wouldn’t worry about it. It can take a while for the admissions committees to get through all the applications.
Does anyone know what the Prominence Scholarship entails?
The Morrill Scholarship has three award levels
Distinction: Equals the value of the cost of attendance for both Ohio residents and nonresidents
Prominence: Equals the value of in-state tuition plus the nonresident surcharge for nonresidents
Excellence: Equals the value of in-state tuition for Ohio residents
*All Scholarships are renewable for eight semesters
