It seems that international applicants have to wait the final wave of decision.
Hi guys, i am an international students. I intend to apply to OSU RD. Do I have any chance to receive some merit based aid? Does OSU offer need based aid for international students? Thank you
International here. No decision. Frustrating
As far as I know, there is no chance for international students for applying financial support. However, you can contact admission office for more information

I’m frustrated because I submitted my app on 10/31 and my application status still says “Evaluation”
@hannah2799 Exactly the way @Faultystart did! xD
Hey guys just wanted advice,
Status: Deferred
Date: 12/16/16
HS Rank: Top 25% of 600 Students
AP and/or Honors Classes all of HS
GPA: 4.01 Weighted, 3.43 Unweighted
ACT: 24
I’ve taken classes at Cleveland State Univ. through College Credit Plus.

What do you think I should expect after being deferred? Chances? Thanks!
In addition I applied as Engineering Undecided
I was accepted last night!!! I thought that I was either gonna get deferred or wait til the last round cause of my 24 ACT but I checked my portal at chipotle and I started crying lol I was so happy.
I hope I get admitted later on then!

Result: Admitted
Submitted Date: 10/29
Acceptance Date /Time: 12/16 , 7:18
Major in: Chemical Engineering
GPA (uw, w): 4.0 uw 1/120 rank
SAT/ACT Scores: ACT: 30 (28 eng, 33 math, 28 read, 30 sci)
State (if domestic applicant): In-state
Note: In state applicants seem to have a higher chance at being accepted. OOS applicants were deferred with a higher ACT than mine, whereas in-state applicants with lower stats than mine were accepted. However, for OOS applicants, the amount of interest shown in Ohio State will be a big factor in being admitted.
MilkTreePillow The Common Data Set for Ohio State says it does not consider level of applicant interest. It’s not any factor. In addition the admissions website lists 10 criteria of Ohio State’s holistic review and level of interest is not any one of the criteria listed.
@lorhop Out of state from Illinois! Very excited
What are the requirements for the honors program at OSU? Is it possible to get in with a 1420 SAT and top 5-10% of class (class does not rank)
Question - does anyone know how admissions representatives are assigned? (i.e. - any way to tell who would be reviewing my application? Still Evaluation…)
Question - is the next wave going to be the last for EA? and when will the next wave be? i’m dying waiting to hear back from more colleges
