Admissions Decisions Dates for ED/EA?

Hi, I was just curious what the "official" dates are to receive the admissions decision for most Early Decision/Action programs. If possible I'd like to know the dates for:

Chicago

Michigan

Virginia

Miami

thanks! :)

Those universities all have web sites. Why can’t you go look this information up?

I can’t find the information on their sites, it’s not there. I know for Chicago it’s around mid December, but there is no information for any of the other schools as far as decision dates.

Ah, yes, I think I see your point.

You want to know when they’ll notify applicants, precisely to the day? I think they don’t publish that information on purpose. Many colleges and universities say they’ll notify applicants “about” a certain time or “by” a certain date. And the actual notification dates fluctuate a little bit year to year.

I am sure the waiting is making you crazy, but I don’t think you’re going to find out precisely when they’ll notify you. At least this is only a temporary problem. I mean, they will tell you eventually!

lol yeah I guess I’m just a bit anxious about the dates and my decisions, but I also really want to know because the outcome of these decisions are going to affect the schools I apply for regular decision. For example I’m not sure if I need to apply to FSU for absolute safety (I applied to UF), so if I get accepted to UM then I know for sure there is no need to apply to FSU. It’s alright if I don’t know the exact hour I get my decision (I know for Cornell it’s December 13 at 5pm eastern :P) but I just want to know if I’ll get my decisions before January- the normal deadline for regular decision.

bump…

bumpity bump

UVA is late January. The rest, no idea.
