i’m pretty thankful i’m such a history buff, because i doubt i would have gotten into engineering or business with those stats. good luck to anyone who is still waiting! My friends were all in the first wave to find out 2 weeks ago, so i felt your pain for 2 weeks. just remember, though, it is moderately random with how they reply back, so dont lose hope!

hey guys could you tell me my chances of getting accepted cause I still haven’t heard. I have a 4.0 gpa weighted, and 1700 SAT, 200+ hrs of community service, varsity lacrosse for 4 years, and I have had a job all throughout highschool. any feedback would be appreciated. thank you

Copying the same post and putting it in multiple threads doesn’t increase your chances of acceptance. Also CC members gauging your chances doesn’t either. It’s days away from March first.

Thanks…

Accepted OOS with 15k scholarship
~3.8 GPA, 2140, 9 APs, solid ECs two sports and community service

@sunset3399: Everything sounds pretty good; their mid-range of SAT scores is 1680-1960 so yours are a little on the lower side, but that does not mean they won’t accept you. One of my friends was accepted with about the same thing. Your extracurriculars/volunteer work/work experience sound awesome, and clearly you have a solid GPA… I’m not sure how much they weight SAT scores so you will just have to wait and see! But I would say you have a pretty good chance. Good luck!!

thanks !! ill let you know

OOS, with 12k scholarship!
1940 SAT
670 CR
610 W
660 M

Got accepted Monday. I got an e-mail about technology services and registering my ID number… I thought that was kind of strange, so I went onto StudentAdmin and saw that they posted my decision. Wooo!!! That night I got the letter in the mail. HAPPY!

Haven’t heard back yet. In-State, Applied October

That’s weird! They said all decisions would be out by March 1st. I would call them on Monday if I were you. Good luck!

All my classmates (that applied to UConn) got their admission decision yeasterday but I haven’t heard back. Should I call them or would that be a bad idea?
