Wait listed, pretty upset because it’s been my dream school for as long as I can remember. Double legacy and many other family members graduated from there as well. I was deferred REA and now waitlisted. Not quite sure what else I could have done. 33 ACT ( I guess that’s not good enough); 790 on US history subject test; 3.95 UW 4.25 W; 5 APs this year and 5 in previous years; captain of two varsity sports for two years; I play on two travel teams outside of school for each of my sports; school government vice president; president of two clubs; volunteer for 10 hours per week; work 15 hours per week; founded an organization to raise money for brain cancer research; received multiple awards for volunteering, academics and athletics. Great recs from teachers I have great relationships with. Essays were also solid.
I don’t know what I did wrong. ND doesn’t have a very good relationship with my school; I don’t know, maybe that’s it.
Keeping my fingers crossed. This wait has killed me.

Rejected with 2180 (730 CR 800 Math) Math II 800 Physics 710 and valedictorian in the most competitive school of my country.
Anyway, I didn’t like studying in a catholic University. And the fact that I got to a lot of other universities like Uchicago Upenn Duke Grinnell Umiami Trinity University makes their decision purely useless. I wasn’t going to enroll. So glad that my place went to someone who really wants it

@tw2411 sorry to hear that the only thing I can think of is that they didn’t feel that you were necessarily a good fit for the school because you seem like an amazing applicant in all areas. Don’t be discouraged you will get into a college that’s just as good if not better for you
