Does anyone know if Davis is going to go with the “UCI approach” and notify admitted applicants sooner than mid-march? If yes, do you know when they start notifying? b/c that would be a great stress-reliever to me, lol.

I hear ya. The wait is driving me fuccin crazy. :D

I'm actually kind of enjoying the limbo... I like being able to think that there's a possibility that I'll get an acceptance letter from Berkeley, LA, and Davis, and that I'll have to decide between the three. Once decisions come out, there won't be that possibility anymore. There will only be reality. Why rush to reality?

Currently our goal is still the middle of March. We were trying to make decisions for an earlier release date, but it doesn’t look like that will be the case this year. Thank you for your patience and good luck.

i read online that they will release decisions by march 15.

Thank you for letting us know, UCD Admissions.

Hello UCD Admissions,

Do you know if community college TAA transfer applicants will get their acceptance notifications in mid-March also?

Thank you.

From:
http://admissions.ucdavis.edu/admissions/tr_timeline.cfm

"Decision notifications begin in mid-March and continue through April 30. Log in to myadmissions.ucdavis.edu to view your admission decision and receive additional instructions."

Yes, EVERYONE here already knows the notification date range for both HS and CC students Captain Obvious. :p

What I'm asking UCD Admissions is if UCD is also targeting TAA transfer notifications for mid-March like they are for the HS students. Understand? ;)

No, I do not understand; I did not have to go through the transfer process.

What is this TAA program? Another back door into the UC system?

http://admissions.ucdavis.edu/taa/

TAA is short for Transfer Admissions Agreement. UC Davis has this agreement with select community colleges in CA.

Other UC schools' agreements with community colleges are known as TAG, Gateway, etc. They're all pretty much the same, just that the names are different.

I believe all schools in the UC system has these, except that the ones for UCLA and UCB are not "guaranteed" contracts.

The current plan is to start releasing freshman and transfer decisions March 15th. However, if you satisfied all requirements stated in your TAA you have a great insight to what the decision will be.

thanx, 2 weeks away

TAA stands for Transfer ALLIANCE Agreement, just a minor correction :)

thanks for the info

TAA = Transfer Admissions Agreement. At least that is the name for the Davis Program. Each campus will have its own name for the program. Other variations I’m aware of are:

TAG = Transfer Admissions Guarantee
TAP = Transfer Admissions Program

your right i was reading on some colleges site, it said Transfer Admission Agreement. But for some reason my CC calls it Transfer Alliance Agreement. Thats weird...my mistake.

only 10 days away, i can't wait!!!! :)

Are Davis decisions posted online. If yes, is it at the same site where we check our app status?
