Ya I think it will be on the App status site...but I think it might be a day or twp past the 15th...They had a lot of Apps

oh so it's all around that date? or is it like ucirvine where the decisions are rolling from march 1-31

Nope, earliest release date for Davis will be March 15, no sooner.

Last year, decisions first started to come out at exactly midnite on 3/15.

If the same holds true for this year, then next Wednesday nite (3/14) after 11:59pm is when they will show up in the system. The countdown is on as we are currently 8 days away from next Wednesday.

I haven’t been able to get an exact time, but most likely it won’t be until the afternoon, or later, of March 15.

Do you have any idea if most decisions will be posted on the 15th or will they be rolling until the end of the month?

Good question, I would like to know also. Will almost everybody who applied get their decision on 3/15?

I believe UCD received something like 42,000 apps this year. Approximately, how much of that 42k total apps will have been processed by next week percentage-wise?

Even today we still plan on releasing all freshman decisions on March 15. Transfer decisions will begin to be released March 15. However, the decisions will continue to be released through the end of April. We have no way to determine who will know when. We want you to know that the time you hear will not affect your decision, i.e. not all negative decisions will be released at an earlier date. If you do not hear March 15 you still may be admitted or denied.

Hey UCD Admissions,

The reason why I'm worried is that my TAA was approved with my legal name on that document. However, what's in the UCD system right now has my first name misspelled by 1 letter. Should I be concerned?

I sent emails to the email address you provided earlier, and I got no response. I also sent it to the other email address thru the UCD Report of Changes webpage without getting a response either. Will this screw up anything since the name on my TAA does not match what's currently in the system?

Another reason why I'm concerned is that 1 of the classes for Spring '07 semester that I need to take to fulfill my TAA. Well I couldn't take this 1 particular class because of a time conflict with another class that I need to take this semester, and so I enrolled into an equivalent class at a different community college in order to fulfill that class requirement. The class name numbering is different between the 2 schools. Do admissions advisors there look up to see if classes at one particular community college are equivalent to the ones at other community colleges?

So if you checked at 12:00 A.M. on March 15th, the result will be there? Or is it like the SAT's where you have to wait until 9:00 A.M. Hey, every hour matters!

SO TRUE, every hour matters!

&& i also want to know if there's a point to staying up till 12 or checking in the morning

UCD Admissions said it won't be released until afternoon to evening hours of the 15th. So next Thursday, after 12pm is when I would check.

Thank you so much UCD Admissions, you've been very helpful. Really cleared up the foggy admission dates. ^_^

I'm glad I could help. Have a nice weekend. Try to relax and good luck in advance for Thursday.

If you're ELC, you're automatically in, right?

Yes. Will Regents notification be available on the 15th as well?

UCD Admissions,

i was notified that i might qualify for ELC, and i filled out the form to give permission, but when i received the package in the mail this year it said i didn't get it because i wasn't in the top 4% (im only in the top 10%)

I still got to fill out the UC application ID they sent me for the ELC thing, does that help at all? My counselor told me that UCs will still give us "points" for being nominated. Is that true?

Unfortunately, our campus will not give credit for being selected for review. We will only offer ELC for students selected as ELC.

Regents should be notified on March 15th as well, freshman applicants. Of course, transfer applicants will begin to be notified on March 15.

I just got out of a meeting and all I can say is don't be surprised if you check the MyAdmissions site very early March 15 and see your admissions decision; by very early I mean at the beginning of the day, right after the day before ends. Also don't blame me if you wait up and check and nothing is there although it seems your Thursday morning should be a little less stressful. Good luck to all!
