When will we get our decisions? Has anyone heard yet?

I think they mail 'em next week. Judging by last year's posts, we'll get them starting Mar. 27.

That is about right. A few will get emails a bit sooner. Then comes the mad rush of decisions from all your schools and you have basically the month of April to decide where you will go and make your deposit.

Caution! If you miss the deadline for your deposit, your seat may well be gone...within hours, due to the large waiting list. So make certain you have communicated your express written acceptance of their offer if you get in and make your deposit. Most kids who are still uncertain attend the Fordham orientation for accepted students in the middle of April, tour campus and listen to the speeches and meet people.

Good luck to all of you.

hey, Anticipation: Peter Farrell (the an admissions counselor) made a thread saying they'll be mailing next Monday through Friday.

...Which means I should be getting mine sometime next week! Ahh!

My D got an early acceptance letter to the LC theater program as a performance major last week. Yhis was such a welcome surprise! The full acceptance packet is to be sent the week of 3/23 with financial aid and scholarship included. Check with financial aid to make sure they have everything so it doesn't delay a decision or aid.

I GOT INTO FORDHAM THEATRE TOOOO yayyy.
hmm nyu and fordham..decisions.. (based solely on financial aid, who are we kidding?)

Hey, what do you guys think? Does this mean I'm in?

We got a letter in the mail today telling us that there were problems with our FAFSA/CSS/all around financial aid info. I know that we sent a corrected FAFSA last week, so I wanted to log into the website they listed in the letter, that would let me see what docs they have/are missing. When I got to it though, it wouldn't allow me to log in, saying I didn't have a password, and couldn't "claim" one. I called the IT guy, while my mom called the admissions office. Two interesting things happened while on the phone w/them:

The letter in the mail said to log on to My Fordham, which looks like it's primarily for students and alumni. When I talked to the IT dept, I told them I couldn't log into the database and check the status of my documents because I didn't have a password. The guy asked me two or three times if I was a new student (like he was double-checking), and I told him, no, that I'm just a prospective/applicant. Idk, my convo with him was a little more vague, but in the end he told me to call the admissions office because they'd have to sign me up from there (I can't do that today, though, because they're closed.) This could have been a general problem for all prospectives trying to log in, though...But the second thing was,

My mom called and worked some stuff out with the adcom. After they'd done this, she told the woman how much I love the school, and how much I really want to go there and blah blah. She told me the adcom was really nice and happy about it, and told her that we should "resend the missing FA forms and on Monday they'll send a good package."

Does that mean I was accepted?? My mom said the adcom said she was "sure that I'll get a nice FA package"...so I'm assuming this is pointing toward a good sign? Do they even know who's accepted/rejected right now? (Other than LC theater majors). My parents and I are on the edges of our seats. This & the kind of surprised/repeated asking if I was a new student or not, makes me pleasantly suspicious; I mean, would an adcom hint towards an FA package if she knew the person was rejected (that'd be soooo cruel)...But I DON'T want to get my hopes up (it could be EA all over again). What do you guys think?

hey guys I got in to CBA! I am an international student and received the package few minutes ago! I'm so happy :)! Thanks for everyone's help here and good luck to you all!

hello anson225, congratulations! are you an international freshman or are you an international transfer?

hi there, i didn't apply for FA
i hope you can get into fordham as well!
so which one is your top choice?

@collegebound91
the financial aid department is totally seperate from admissions. most finaid departments don't even know if you are accepted or not. while i recieved the same thing and maybe it is a good thing, i dont think its indictive of anything. no worries, you'll find out by the end of the week!

hi Anson, what were ur SAT scores? i got accepted for bentley too but weren't offered any scholarship. im an int'l student too.

Anson - not sure yet. as of now Northeastern's looking pretty good because of co-op, but i don't really know. I'm waiting for all the colleges to reply.
