<p>Anyone know when we can hear if we're admitted or not?</p>
<p>Do we have to wait until January, like some schools, or will we learn sooner?</p>

<p>Daughter got a phone call today saying she was in. They said they wanted her to know before Thanksgiving Holidays- really nice!</p>

The phone calls and letters that Saint Louis sends are always very nice and personal – I remember that from my first daughter, who also was admitted, but chose to attend elsewhere.
What does your daughter want to study?</p>
<p>She plans to major in Biology. She will probably take a lot of art classes too. She also applied to Wash U to dual major in biology and art- but it is a much higher reach. My sister went with her daughter and looked at both Wash U and SLU last year and she was really impressed by both schools for a pre-med minded student. What did your daughter like about it - or dislike?</p>
<p>My daughter got a call on Monday as well, letting her know that she got into the nursing program. </p>
<p>They also said that she would be getting an admission letter and a scholarship letter at the beginning of December. Does anyone know if a “scholarship letter” means that they are definitely receiving a scholarship, or is it letting them know how to apply for scholarships?</p>
<p>^ DSs admission packet was a tri-fold, admissions letter and other info on the left, under the right flap there was a scholarship award letter with type, amount, rules etc. Did not see the trifold flap until yesterday, two weeks after the packet came!</p>
<p>hmm… I got a call 2-3 weeks ago about my acceptance and scholarship award but still haven’t gotten anything in the mail. Anybody else still waiting for a concrete acceptance letter?</p>
