<p>Well, the email thing worked on that Dining Services page for my DD and she only applied 3 weeks ago with median stats. Too big of a loophole, I don’t think it means a thing.</p>

<p>I feel that my stats are definitely good enough to get into OSU. I’m surprised that I haven’t received a letter of acceptance.</p>
<p>My son has received several calls from OSU. One from a student currently in my son’s chosen program of study and another person who asked him several questions about his college preferences. What colleges he applied to, what his first choice was, why he wanted to go to Ohio State and what his current grades were. He is still under eval and looks to be borderline (29ACT, AP classes, 3.4 GPA)</p>
<p>Are these calls standard…or maybe a way of determining if they will accept him?</p>
<p>Also, he has the same email on the page others have mentioned: lastname.#.osu.edu
I tend to think this is an automated feature.</p>

<p>That email thing isn’t anything. I just used my lastname.# to log into my app status and it worked.</p>
<p>My D applied near Dec. 1 and was notified by e-mail 12-15-09. She has now received 2 informational packets/letters in the US mail.</p>

<p>My status has been on evaluation since sept 23 (at least they told me thats when my file became complete). Im hoping I hear today or tomorrow. Cant imagine they would work thurs. or friday.</p>
<p>Some folks have been in evaluation status since August. Just be patient and join the queue with the rest of us. Too bad we can’t evaluate each other to help them expedite the process.</p>
<p>Let’s hope for a large batch release by Wednesday evening and give everyone a nice holiday gift.</p>
