FindAPlace - where did you read that UCLA released decisions? And since it’s not even 5:00pm PST yet today, did you mean will release??

bruins77 - Go to the UCLA forum… there’s a thread there all about that

@poncem
don’t be so pessimistic! you never know what’s gonna happen!
What other colleges did you apply to? Any answes?

@BrookeDavis I’m still hoping there’s a next wave but won’t get too bummed out if I don’t get in, I’m more interested in getting into NYU. Thanks for the support though! I already got into Northeastern which I would be happy going to if I don’t get into USC or NYU so I’m more or less calm :)

Gongrats on Northeastern! I was thinking about applying there, but I chose California eventually, so I applied only there!
Where are you from, btw?

Thanks I’m from Peru, you’re from Greece right? (I think I read it when you posted your stats… although I might be mistaking you for someone else)

hahah I’m from Greece, indeed! So maybe you did read my stats :)

@ BrookDavis, poncem and laure327:

So we are all intl huh? I go the email yesterday from DHL either and for the first time in my life I cant wait for the weekend to be over! haha

anyways did any of you got the actual package??

nope!! I guess they’ll be here around Monday or Tuesday!!
Where are you from??

I think DHL will eventually reach us within a week.
Currently my tracking record shows that its in Cincinnati!!!

Mine, too!
I’m also waiting for another package from Chapman (FedEx)!!
It’s really weird that they both send me emails about sending the results the same day, within an hour!!!

where are you guys from? Do you know if they send acceptances through DHL to all the countries cuz reading older posts some people in certain countries were accepted but not through DHL
someone from my coountry (Israel) was accepted but never got the email so I’m wondering if it will be like that this year or not…

I’m a Korean but im currently staying in India.
I guess that most of international students gets their package through DHL but I also read that some people got it through fedex and priority US mail or something.

At this time there is nothing we can do except waiting! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

THe service they’re using to send the DHL packages is the worldwide express which means it should arrive the next working day.

I got the email yesterday and my package has moved from LA, to Cincinnati, to Miami (where I believe it will fly directly to Peru) arriving on Monday most likely

@brookdavis:
I’m from turkey and right now, Im actually freaking out. Most of the people that I talked from other schools and cities told me that they all got the email so does that mean they are all accepted? They cant be accepting that many of people just from turkey…
do you know how and when did the rejected people get their letters last year? cuz frankly, I have this feeling that Im not accepted. I was underqualified and wasnt expecting acceptance at all… my father says DHL package means nothing and that they may be sending out rejected intls via dhl as well. but thinking about it, why would they pay for extra money to let us know we are rejected?
aargghhh!! Im so anxious and so busy thinking about all the bad possibilities that I couldnt sleep last night at all…

nilufer:

If the DHL emails follow the previous patterns for USC acceptances, then it means you are going to receive an acceptance packet. I don’t think that USC is going to suddenly change their methods of delivery for international students JUST in your case. You should be prepared to be very happy at the beginning of next week! Practice smiling. : )

thank you very much yorkiemom! see? im smiling already
USC has been my dream school since my sophomore year and I’d do everything to get in… Even if Im admitted as undeclared, Im definately enrolling :)

Nilufer, like yorkie said, if you got that DHL email you definitely got in. You’re from Turkey huh? That’s cool man! I’m from Sudan! Nice to see other internationals. Seems we have other accepted internationals from Greece, India, Indonesia, Peru - so cool!

yeah MagicalMalik, Im from turkey but im a US citizen. still, im turkish so im practically intl too
i still dont wanna get my hopes up but i cant help but smile and dream about my life at USC

i never looked forward the weekend to be over in my life i just want to jump to the moment that I come from school and find a DHL packet in mailbox :)
