OCgirl 92 - I think we have the same postwoman! Except we are in PA - maybe a twin sister?

the timing is feeling right, based on everything posted here and on other school threads in the last couple days. It seems as is if there is a pecking order, culminating with the ivy announcements on 4/1.

So everyone will be haunting this site starting about noon tomorrow…

hey ocgirl I live in Orange County too! what part? best of luck to you!

hahahahahahahahah Stupefy…same here :)

@stupefy: my counselor doesn’t know anything either? She’s a sweetheart… but she didn’t even know what a likely letter was! : /

@initiatelaunch: Haha maybe! I agree with the pecking order thing… I think we’ll receive letters before March 31.

@eagle2010: You’re probably the 4th person on cc to ask ( : Haha I’ll PM you in a sec.

ahh you guys are making me soooo nervous!
I was also deferred from EA at SFS and now i am getting really scared that I ddnt write a letter of continued interest. I did improve my SAT score my 120 points though and I also raised my French subject test score (most important since im applying to SFS and they stress language) by 90 points, and my testing was definitely my weakness from EA (said my college counselor). still, i know testing is NOT enough to get one into georgetown SFS soooo i would say my chances are really slim!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE especially people who will probs get their letters later today and most of all to deferees since we are at a disadvantage

My counselor doesn’t even know what restricted early action is! That’s what you get from a large public school in small-town Oregon.

I’M SO NERVOUS.

oh come on, counselors don’t come preinstalled with all sorts of jargon that came into existence only in the past five years.

guys what does this mean for international students. when will we get email notification (roughly)?

from the official website: http://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/applying_firstyear_international.cfm

Their emailing people? WOW!

No letter in TN today wishful thinking that it would get here overnight

@smk821: I thought they were sending out admissions decisions today?

if the letters are being sent out today, to make it fair international students, im guessing the emails will be sent early next week?

are we certain letters have been sent out?

chances I get my georgetown letter tommorow?

I’m positive. I talked to my yearbook rep, who is an alum and does interviews, and he said that they went out yesterday, I believe. But today for sure.

well i guess i won’t be getting any sleep tonight then

not that this really needed to be said, but post on cc as soon as you get your letter so everyone else can go rush their mail-people!!!

Since i’m not home (on vacation) you think they would let me know over the phone? Or do I have to wait until I get back…
