Just an update: received an offer today for the Gold National Scholarship (in Illinois).

Where did you receive the Gold National Scholarship? Online or mail? When did you get your decision?

@Bobbeh

I got it in the mail yesterday, and I received my decision in the mail on October 13th I think.

Is the’ scholarship situation more competitive in CSE than in bio sci do you think? My DS has pretty similar stats to bobbeh but admitted to CSE with no info on honors or scholarships (OOS). His school doesn’t rank if that is a deciding factor. I am crossing all digits.

DD’s Gold National Scholarship came about a week after written acceptance in Snail Mail. It is not visible online.

@alfonsia, you are not alone! DD (OOS) has received acceptance to CSE also with higher stats than these mentioned, and so far only acceptance with no mention of honors or scholarship.

Admitted 10/27/14 to college of liberal arts.

GPA: 3.91 UW; 4.1 W. All IB classes. School does not officially rank, but top 5%.
SAT: 1870
ACT: 27
Extras: Leadership, varsity soccer, debate, and other ECs.
CA public school

wait are we supposed to get an email when the decision is posted on the tracker?? they just received everything today

If admitted you’ll receive an admissions package in the regular mail. I don’t think D received any e-mail. Be sure to check the Tracker daily.

My daughter goes to the Univ of Minn and is also from NJ. They are heavily recruiting from NJ. Congrats

Tracker shows when all materials are in, when app is in review, admitted, and honors. Snail mail came much later than tracker notification for these for S. Scholarships are snail mail - no evidence of them on tracker. I agree - check your tracker regularly

Hi guys. SO I was accepted into the College of Science and ENgineering but I haven’t enrolled yet obviously. Just curios when you guys mention your majors in the posts, is that what you listed as your first choice or have you already been admitted to that major? And, also, when do we get to pick our majors. Sorry for the dumb questions. Thanks you guys!

Hey guys,
I was recently admitted a few weeks ago. I reviewed my acceptance on application tracker. What comes in the mail? Is there informationon housing or other things? Thanks a lot
