Admissions Envelopes

I know this is silly and stupid but it will keep me entertained for the coming days. When penn sends out admissions decisions, what was the envelope size of a admit?

I got a really large envelope with a ton of stuff in it. I was RD though.

Who got in ED with a large envelope?

Do we get email notification on the 14th or 15th?

And does anyone know if the email acceptance would start with Congratulations! or if it would be boring stuff first?

There is a email confirmation??????????????

For ED, you get a single piece of paper in the mail very similar to what you see online.

About a week later, you get the big one.

omgosh thats terrifying. good thing we get our online decisions before our mail.

its not an email... is it?
isnt it a site they give u a pin to, and you check the status online?

ooo fat envelopes, how exciting :)

i bet you anything my internet connection will suddenly disconnect or something, right before i check my decisions.

^ most probably.
power outtages in december? quite common in south florida.
dsl connections going haywire when i need them most? a banality of my life.

i really can't handle all this counting down tension... i need to go shopping. lol

too bad I have school on Dec 14 and 15!! How horrible would it be to sit through school and wait... and wait...

Same here venus...it's going to be horrible!

I can tell you from experience, it is no exaggeration to say that was the most agonizing day of my life (it is also perhaps a sign of how blessed and easy my life really is).

It's going to be a terrible day. But eventually you'll find yourself in front of a computer ready to check and...the site won't load

thousands of kids trying to access the same site at the same time inevitably spells disaster. It's been that way for years and I don't imagine they have any plans to fix it.

So just when you think your agony is about to be over, you get the additional agony of not even getting the page to load.

"For ED, you get a single piece of paper in the mail very similar to what you see online."

What does the first line say? Congratulations?

I bet I will have a heart attack before I type the password in. LOL

The piece of paper will be the exact replica of that letter (letters if you're in joint-degree) you see online.
