<p>Wow, what a GREAT year to be applying to college!
This makes me all the more thankful for getting in EA.</p>

<p>Oh, actually the 25% is the overal admit percentage… so RD admit rate is going to be even lower. </p>

<p>So i guess … EVERYONE NEXT YEAR APPLY FOR EA !!</p>

<p>What isn’t reported is how many EA applicants were deferred and how many rejected. The way I figure it, if ALL applicants who weren’t accepted were rejected the acceptance rate for RD would be just under 20%, whereas if ALL were put into the RD pool the rate would be 15%. Obviously the percentage would have to be somewhere in between if the overall rate is indeed 25%.</p>
