@hailtopitt1787, How long does it normally take for SAT scores to be received? College board shows scores being sent 8/31, but the application is still incomplete. Thank you!
I think it takes a week to ten days for SAT scores.
Has anyone applying to the CBA gotten the admitted status yet?
@engtchde, As mommdc stated, it takes a little while for us to receive the scores. It also takes a few business days for us to process them. If they were sent 8/31, it shouldn’t be too much longer.
As long as you know you have sent us any items listed as missing, we should get them shortly and the incomplete status will be removed.
Best of luck,
A Pitt Admissions Staffer

Is merit aid also being sent out at the time of acceptance?
@Kramer1, Scholarships will be sent later on. The Scholarship Committee starts meeting weekly in October and decisions are made on a rolling basis.

@hailtopitt1787 Thanks so much! Also, I submitted my application last week and sent my SAT scores. Should I also send my AP scores?
@hailtopitt1787 And how long would you expect it to take for my decision to be released if I submitted last week?
@Kramer1, It takes a few business days for us to make sure we have everything and process it and then a few weeks for it to get to the Admissions Committee for review. I can’t give you a totally specific estimate, but I would say it wouldn’t be abnormal for you to wait a month or a little more from the day you submit your application.
As for AP Scores, those come into play once a student is admitted and working with their advisor to determine whether or not their scores have earned them college credit at Pitt. You can get more info about AP credit at Pitt here: https://oafa.pitt.edu/apply/ap-ib-credit/

@hailtopitt1787 would editing my SRAR in August push me back to the end of the application pile after I submitted the app in early July?
@almostdonewithhs, I am not quite sure. I don’t believe it would. Feel free to contact our office with questions about your specific application. One of our staff can take a look at your account and give you a more specific answer to your questions: 412-624-7488 or oafa@pitt.edu.

@hailtopitt1787 Thank You!
@hailtopitt1787 how long after activating my Pitt application account will I receive a decision?
@cheesecarebear … it looks to be kind of random! Some who have a completed application from July are still waiting! Hang in there!
@cheesecarebear, I can’t give you an exact estimate, it depends on several factors (how quickly we can process the components of your application, etc). I will say, it would not be abnormal for it to take anywhere from a few weeks to over a month.
Best of luck!
