Ugh, I hate how long I have to wait for decisions from my reach schools! I want to place a deposit somewhere just in case (so I get better housing options), but I also want to wait and see I’m accepted anywhere else.

Maybe Yale will change that “by April 1” to “by February 2nd” ;D

helpful thread. let’s keep on adding to the list.

quick question. do all colleges email you if they receive all items for your application? or do some colleges just not email you…

U Penn is March 28

@ChillyPenguin I applied to five colleges and received confirmations from all of them. It’s pretty common.

When they say by April 1st, does that mean you’re most likely to get their decision during March?

I haven’t received notifications from all, and i applied to around 15 schools…
should this a cause of concern?

Based on the last 3 years RD release dates, I predict that

WUSTL will release their decision on March 8 (they always seem to release the decision 3 weeks before the Ivies, and always on a Friday)
All Ivies will release their decisions on March 28
UVa, Northwestern, and Rice will release decisions the week of March 18-22

Agree with PsychoDad on Ivy admits. Lots of bandwidth used at 5pm EST on March 28th.

@ChillyPenguin You should email those colleges you got no confirmation from. Ask them if they received your application.

Probably just a matter of preference / convenience.
