We’re getting closer to the last batch of admissions decisions for regular decision applicants, so we thought we’d start a crowdsourced list. If you have a firm date for decision notification, please add it to the list. Here’s a start:
Rutgers - Feb 28
Princeton - Mar 31
Stanford - Apr 1
Vanderbilt - Apr 1
Virginia Tech - Apr 1
NYU - Apr 1

Since there’s nothing listed under William and Mary, I thought I would quip in. Officially the school says “by April 1st” but we all know that many schools release results earlier than that. For the past two years at least, it has been on March 26th for RD applicants

You guys might want to check out the list of actual notification dates from last year. Lots of schools that say “April 1” on their website actually notify earlier.

Notification dates for Notre Dame, Duke, Amherst, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins and WUSL please? Can anyone help? The above mentioned list is for last year. Thank you
@Admission 371 The point of posting the list of ACTUAL experienced notification dates from last year is for people to extrapolate when they might be this year. You should be able to easily look up the “official” date on the colleges’ websites’ admissions pages. Often, though, that is a conservative date. In many cases, the actual notification date is a week or two earlier. It’s helpful to look back over previous years to see when the actual decisions came out. For instance, if it’s historically been on the second-to-last Friday of March, you can reasonably assume it will be this year, too.
FWIW, my daughter did not receive her notification email from Harvard last year, even though she was signed up to do so. After waiting for a few hours, she finally checked her portal, and the news was there. If anyone experiences that this year, it’s probably a good idea to skip the waiting.
Note: MIT didn’t exactly release their decision notification date, but this date is definitely up MIT’s alley. 3/14/15? Pi = 3.1415… Judging by previous dates, it’s almost obvious that MIT will release their decisions on March 14.
