<p>too many applicants now so they have to raise their bar/cutoff point. UCSD is certainly becoming more prestigious, ranking on par with UCB and UCLA for sciences.</p>

<p>You do have a chance for ucla and cal as they are holisitic. If you have killer ec's and essays, you could surely get in. But what is "Ridic." above? USC and NYU want your money. UCSD is a bargain in value. And many more people better qualified than you (per ucsd) want that value at ucsd. So you got rejected by ucsd.</p>

<p>i wonder if UCLA does rejections and admissions at the same time. Also, how do they send your status? (my sister got a package in the mail... before online notification, but this was 3 years ago) email? because I never got an email to make an account for UCLA.</p>

<p>Another SD reject here. I got UCI with Honors, USC and WUStL though, so I'm not THAT bummed out. Hoping for LA and Berkeley.</p>
<p>UCI and UCSD is ongoing. I know a lot of people that's already accepted to both colleges.</p>
