I get the same thing. I'm not sure whether it means you were able to log in and the service was offline or if it just mean to try logging in later though.

Well once I signed in to URSA , a box appeared saying:
Sign-in successful. Redirecting you now
(So I was able to sign in, but it's closed until 6, so I was redirected.)

Did anything similar happen to any of you?

I'm so anxious.

ugh im gonna be on vacation without internet access on the 19th!! waiting for it to be 6pm pacific is gonna take a while....

@ klynchhhh

what does your brother's roommate, or your brother, say about receiving a UID# after logging into manage my account? A few posts ago, someone said that was supposedly only given to students and faculty.

klynch, he doesnt want WHAT to be known?
ask him if it means anything if you can make an account and get an ID number

@klynchhhhh: You're absolutely sure? And do you know what time PT, so I know when to check on the East Coast?

i think kylnchhh meant that his brother's roommate doesn't want the date of April 19th to be known, but many other people have called admissions and have been told of that date anyways.

^^you better mean march 19th...not april!

Yea he means March 19th not April haha, that would be ridiculously late.

I am so confused about this, what do i do? Is this needed?

What is the purpoose?

So what is the date for UCLA? There site is completely different than the other UC's and are not very specific on the date

^the 19th.
although we have a hunch that we can find out tonight after 6

sry! meant march 19!

halkumarukuchan: People are trying to do this to find out if they are admitted before UCLA releases decisions.

Step 1) Create a URSA Account. Here.

Step 2) Select "New Student" AKA, for people who were admitted.

Step 3) Type in necessary information, but use your UC application ID number instead of the UCLA ID number.

Step 4) Test to see if it works. (Worked for me.)

After this I went to "Manage my account" in URSA, and I was provided a UCLA ID number, which is apparently only given out to students and faculty members.

Proof: UCLA Identification (UID) (1001121)

Update: Looks like this doesn't mean anything. Blah. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/459424-create-ucla-id.html

Sorry for getting everyone's hopes up.

So.. I accidently created two accounts.
The first time I didn't create it as a new student, but then I wanted to see if I could, and, in turn, get an ID number. I did end up getting an ID number. But yeah, I used the same e-mail for both. I can sign on to both. I'm really confused.

^same happened for me...but ill only use the one that gave me the ID# haha

^Yeah, I did that too, but I think it doesn't mean anything and it could even mess up stuff for us when the decisions actually come out

i don't think it matters much, cuz you can have your parents create URSA accounts too, and then assign them 3rd party rights, so they can like pay your bills and stuff.

Did anyone not get an ID# when they created an account?
