Admissions numbers released

Taking ED decision applicants into account (1299 out of 5149 applicants) the RD acceptance rate is about 7%.

^ That’s exactly what I came up with, which means they’re expecting about a 48% RD yield (as in recent years). Of course, that’s before taking into account any applicants accepted from the wait list, if any.

7%? That’s insane for Penn. I have absolutely zero hope as of right now. :frowning:

Ugghh - that’s terrible. 93 out of every 100 are going to be upset tomorrow. This college game is really an early decision/early action game - that’s, by far, each person’s best chance at admittance.,

@jyza95 thank you for sharing that link. Puts us in a better place knowing we need to move on.

Does anyone else know if the other ivies have released their data yet?

there is no way in hell i am getting in…ahhhhh bye dream school D:

Haha…my country India has a population of 1.3 billion…and 34 have got into UPenn… :)) …hilariously depressing…

@SuperrMom: Well I’m betting that much fewer than 1.3 billion applied to Penn

And not all who applied have Penn as their top choice school,

So hopefully, percentage wise, there are almost as many happy Indian students today as US students (or students from any other country). ^-^
