if you check on the website for your decision, there is a sidebar called “my penn plan.” Click on it and you’ll be able to see your financial aid package.

@Disgradius, Do you mean FA package will come separately from the acceptance package? S1’s packet arrived today with no mention of financial aid.

Same here! I accepted the ED offer… which said I would get 35,000… now it’s just $5,500 in loans… I’m scared ****less as I have long ago withdrew my other apps. I hope Penn hasn’t posted the official FA package because there is no way I can pay for it and my financial situation hasn’t changed. If this is real, my mom says that we’re going to have to sue.

They are not exactly generous, but if there is a change in your circumstances, or any special condition that could have been overlooked in the original forms that might be cause problems in your attendance, they will reconsider your award for sure :)

In my case, my mother is a single mother, plus her salary from 2008 to 2009 was cut in two. I think that is why I got more aid. But filling out a reevaluation form cannot hurt!

Same with me. I think if there is just the 5500 there on My PennPlan, you are either missing a document, or they haven’t fully processed it yet. I got my acceptance packet with no mention of financial aid, but that has been the norm for all the schools that I have been accepted too except for Duke.

the same happened with me. I called the financial aid office (im in nursing so I have a special advisor, maybe you guys do to?) and she emailed me the correct financial plan. Also, it was fixed later that day. So give them a call.

About the reevaluation form, where can you get those?

My Penn Plan said that they were giving me $0.00 dollars in aid, which is very weird considering that I applied for at least a 20k financial aid. Has this happened to anyone else?
