When do we receive the admissions packet? I sent in my deposit the middle of last week.

What do you mean by the admissions packet? You should have recieved a big packet just before April 1st that had a big, "Congratulations" on it, but other than that I'm not sure what you're referring to.

My S just got a letter with his VandyID yesterday and he sent in his acceptance letter and mat. fee, April 17th if that helps.

What I mean is the stuff they send to you after you send in your matriculation deposit, like general orientation stuff and how to set up e-mail, or the VandyID thing as trey1105 mentioned above. Sorry about referring to it as an "admissions packet" because that is confusing.

Oh! I understand what you're saying. I guess I was a little confused b/c our situations might be a little different. I applied under EDI and sent my deposit in back in December, but I still didn't recieve that packet your talking about until April first. If you look, you should have recieved that little booklet that says, "Open 'Dores... Vanderbilt... A guide for first-year students." On about the fourth page of that booklet at the top right-hand side it should tell you about the VUnetID. Go to www.vanderbilt.edu/epassword and there you should be able to sign up for it, and thereby be able to get your e-mail address and apply for housing/meal-plans once you recieve your ID. I really hope this helps. But yeah, that booklet really does say some important stuff, it's not the typical bull that some schools send.
