Does the date that you submit your application increase or decrease chances of admission? I have heard that applicants who submit their application earlier have an advantage over other applicants who submit their applications a few days prior to or on November 1st.

Is it really easier to get accepted to summer vs. fall?

I am not sure as to submitting early. I believe the processing of applications doesn’t start until the following year.

Yes, simply because there is less applicants for the summer (or so I would presume).

1) No.
2) No no no no no no no no no no no

none of that stuff matters at all. they don’t review applicants until after the deadline, and you don’t apply for specific terms. you just give them a preference.

So there is no advantage to applying earlier or for summer?

there is not.

its not at all uncommon for people to be deferred to another term because of space issues, or for people to ask to start a term different from when they were accepted. that is to say, its a logistical/preferential matter more than anything.
