I was accepted to TAMU for the spring 2016 semester but due to personal constraints I wasn’t able to attend. I plan on reapplying for Fall 2016 when the application becomes available. I was accepted into the college of liberal arts with a 3.03 GPA. Now I currently have a 3.13 GPA. Do you think that previously being accepted and reapplying could have a negative impact on my application?
Assuming you are a transfer… I would contact the department and let them know your issue. Transfers are admitted by department, so the same people will be making your decision - maybe you could just be deferred until Fall 2016 versus re-applying - worth the phone call to find out. Good luck!
Yes I am a transfer. I called up there yesterday, they told me I would just need to re apply for the fall 2016. I’m sure they will still have most of my information on file so I feel that might be a plus.
