Admissions Question

I haven't been able to find the answer on the USNA web site so I hope someone knows:

What is the drop dead date that everything must be submitted to USNA (recommendations, CFA testing, etc.)

"All appointees should notify the Admissions Office of their intention to accept or decline by May 1. Except in very unusual circumstances, candidate files not completed by March 1 will not receive further consideration."

It would appear that March 1 is that 'drop dead date' for admission materials. But to be competitive, get your app in ASAP. The USNA admission process is known as rolling admissions. As soon as they receive all of your admission materials, they will review your file.

I would work to get your app in as fast as you can. USNA isn't looking for people who are just here to meet deadlines. They want the ones that strive to do better than the minimum.

Good luck!

I agree with you. Everything is in but I haven't completed the CFA test yet. I am trying to improve my pull-ups. Although I am a recruited athlete, I am not sure if a poor CFA test will keep me out.
