In the 2007 catalog and on the admissions website “the bulk of appointments will be offered in March.” Does a completed package get reveiwed weekly or only upon completion? If an LOA/Admission offer is not extended does the package wait until March?
I have an appointment to USMA. My package for USAFA and USNA have been complete since October. I have 3 nominations (Pres DV, Sen,Rep). Just wondering if it is worth checking my USAFA application page regularly or leave it alone until March.

When I applied, my Air Force ALO explained West Point almost always is first to offer an appointment, followed by USNA, then USAFA. Although I know like for mine, I finished my application after I got a nomination in early Jan and knew a few weeks later. For me (I know others had different experiences)..I recieved my appointment by mail first then the page updated maybe a week later.

I remember it was the second monday of march I think, and 1000 appointments were mailed out that day (including mine).

Well XXXX'X to be me right now. I check the website twice a day for changes. I feel like I am going to burn the server down.

Check the website every day. It takes a little of the pressure off. Your application goes before the committee soon after it's marked complete. They may review it again (and again, and again) if they deem it necessary. Sometimes the website is updated before you are notified by mail and sometimes the website is your first notification. Heck, some people just get the call from their congressman first. It can happen anytime and in any number of different ways. We ought to start a thread on the coolest ways to get the word. Good luck!
