I was just wondering - is Elliot harder to get into than the other undergrad schools at GW? Would you say it's the hardest? What would you say is the easiest?
Thanks.

I think SMPA would be the hardest, follwed by Elliott

would it be safer to apply to the general school then later transfer to elliott or are your chances the same jus applying to the elliott school?

That's another good question.

Anyone?

If you apply later, like in the sophomore year, you may have taken some of the GCR, but you'll be unable to take Elliott specific courses, or SMPA specific courses from scratch since they have approved them for majors only, which may put you in disadvantage, but then you can take more of the classes of your interest. Besides, as a sophomore you have to apply to the school of choice, and is up to them to accept you or not and you may have wasted time and money if not accepted.
If anyone else has any other input I would appreciate it, but that is what I have learned from my friends who are entering sophomores.

An earlier thread makes a switch seem not too hard.
