Admissions question

My status recently changed from decision pending to admission approved. Now, Im assuming that means ive been accepted but the admissions person said not necessarily. Is she only saying this because they can't tell you youve been accepted over the phone due to protocol and she doesn't want to actually say yes your in?

Im just confused because I dont understand why it would say admission approved and get a rejection letter( i haven't received a letter yet of any decision)? Does anyone know anything about Chapmans status changes?

Thanks!

Are you a prospective freshman? When did you submit your application? And when did they send you your webadvisor log-in information?

According to last year’s acceptance threads, admission approved means you’re in!

Im a transfer student for the spring! My status changed on 11/10/2010 so I’m assuming a letter should be coming soon and just like yourself i checked threads for the fall 2010 applicants and everyone that received admission approved status was accepted!

I think I read that transfer students find out on a rolling basis so it’s not odd that your status changed. They prob just can’t tell you until a specific date.

That means you where accepted. Congrats! I am a freshman at Chapman this year and it is AMAZING. You will love it. My status changed to that same thing when I got accepted.

aww sweet im glad you love it HJ, thank you!
