I'm beginning to get worried that I'll be in trouble with Columbia because I wasn't able to drop by when a college representative visited my school. Does this make it look like I'm not interested?

No. Writing a good application shows interest, not token appearances at this sort of thing.

Most of the admissions officers that visit locales don't have the time to remember all who attend. It's all in your application.

ditto for momray. it might make a difference if you applied to some super small school like olin but not columbia

If you were so worried, did you send a letter or email to that college representative showing your interest?

you should be careful with such a correspondance.... the only thing worst than not showing up is pointing out that you didnt show up.

ahahaha, that would be funny if you raise a red flag on yourself.
