I’m a rising senior from New York, and I definitely want to apply to McGill as an English major. I just wanted to know two things. First of all, does McGill require SAT II’s if you send your ACT scores? More importantly, do you think that I can get in? I have an 88 gpa (my school does it that way), which translates to about a 3.54. I got a 32 on my ACT (E: 36 M: 29 R: 34 S: 30) and a 34 superscored. I have 7 extracurriculars, the most notable ones being my job as a ski instructor and my internship at a large newspaper this past summer. I’m also the president and founder of a club, and I’ve written and am going to direct a one-act play this spring. It’s the first time a one-act written by a student at my school will be staged. I’m in a few other clubs too, and I’ve done a decent amount of community service during every year of high school.
No SAT II’s if you submit ACT with Writing.
Here are the minimum admission requirements:
Admission is based solely on UW GPA and test scores.
