Admissions Requirements Problem!!!

Does taking algebra 1 in 8th grade count as the 4 years required math classes for getting into college? So far I've taken algebra 2 in 9th, geometry in 10th, and math analysis in 11th.

I believe the requirement generally means they want you to take 4 years of math in high school... but it wouldn't hurt to call and ask a few colleges.

It's usually a "recommendation", so you should be ok, though colleges do want 4 years in high school.

I didn't take 4 years, but everyone's case is different.

You should be ok.

From what I've been told, it counts as a year of high school math. If others can take the exact same course in 9th grade and get credit for it, why shouldn't the op?
But to another topic, why wouldn't you take math senior year?
