Admissions rescission question

I have already SIR’d to Berkeley, but I am going to earn a D in my Physics II class and either a B or a C in my Calculus III class. I think I should be good for the 3.0 gpa requirement, but will the D be enough for Berkeley to rescind me? Also, I do have a semi-valid reason for the D. One of the things that went wrong that was out of my control (obviously there are many things I could have done better, and are solely on me) was that when I was taking the final exam, the images on the test wouldn’t load, resulting in it being impossible for me to answer several of the questions. Is this a good enough excuse for admissions to let me off the hook?

Thanks

Yes, a D is enough to be rescinded. Unless UCB’s provisional admission contract has changed, they require a 3.0 unweighted GPA, no more than 2 C’s and no D’s or F’s. I would do everything within your power to get that Physics II grade up to a C since you are also stating a possible C in the Calculus III course.

Ok. What if I were to drop the course?

Yeah, dropping should work as long as the deadline for dropping has not passed and as long as you don’t need te class to graduate.
