Admissions #'s for 2011?

Does anyone as of yet know what they new admit rate is?

Admissions Office said they'd be up on the website next week. I'm guessing they'll be in a Daily article (as soon as Monday's edition), too.

"Again this year competition for limited places available in the class was intense as just 26% of the applicants at regular decision were offered admission."

That's good though because last year it was 23% I think. Might have been even lower now that I think of it...

Last year it was 26.6%, RBAY, according to the Admissions website.

Oh. Princetonreview must be wrong then!

PR says 27% which I guess was a round-up from 26.6%. In any case, according to an above post, it seems acceptance was a round 26% rate this year.

I'm talking about what Princetonreview said last year!

You mean for teh class of 2010 right? Yeah that's what I'm talking about.

2009! You're making me uncomfortable!!!!

Ahhhh haha anyway, I don't know what's going on but I'm pretty sure TUfts' acceptance rate has never been 23%... soon enough, though, the way things are going in this crazy world of college admissions! ;-)

You're probably right. I am the one who thought the acceptance rate for transfers was 40% after all!!! I cannot believe it's actually like 10%!!!

It was 23% our year (Class of 2007).

Oh my! Maybe that's what I was thinking of!!!

No way, are you serious? The acceptance rate for our class was 23%?? Do you ahve a link to back this up? Wow.

What's the acceptance rate for Arts?

How do you know it is 26% for 2011? I remember it was 23% a few years back, then for some reason went up. It has to keep falling to stay in line with its peers; If its 26% i'll be surprised that it didn't fall even lower.

And yes, we admit 10-14% in transfer admissions. One of my friends is a transfer student; it was very difficult for her to get in.

I can't find a link, but I could've sworn it was 23% several years back for our year exclusively (though the SAT average was ~1330 compared to the current ~1410ish). I remember thinking to myself how anomolous it was. Maybe it was 23% for liberal arts and then combined with engineering at a higher percentage gave it the overall usual 26-27%?

Have you tried the Office of Institutional Research -- The FactBook - I think that's where I saw the 23% a few years back.

hmm.. i got waitlisted and in my letter it said that they had over 15,300 applicants for 1,275 spots making the acceptance rate 12%...
