Solstice - what does your transcript say now???

@solstice wait did it like just change? what’s your major!!! i’m still waiting on mine

Wait a minute…when I clicked the UW bothell transcript it was the same. I’m lost. Can someone show their transcript for seattle?

@Twizzle

Im in the same situation as you. My bothell and seattle transcripts are the same.

I’m posting in this. You can’t have a 20,000 post topic without me.

Well myUW just went offline for the night…so hopefully in the morning. Good luck to everyone else who still having the unofficial transcript dilemma

My transcript loaded when I checked just now :smiley: definitely didn’t load yesterday when I tried… my major says “pre-humanities” too, although for all I know, that’s what I applied as (started the year thinking I was going to be an English major, am finishing it thinking that’s the last thing I want to be… half of my apps say one thing, half say another, and I can’t remember which are which.)

@twizzle @calibrate

same thing here! I can’t tell if we just didn’t get in so it’s not pulling up or of we did, but there’s just some sort of problem…?

No transcript, no ID number for S. :frowning: Somewhat shocked bit still holding put a sliver of hope - his raw stats are 2190 SAT, 33 ACT, 3.6 uw GPA, 3.9 w GPA… thought he’d be a match for UW. But one never knows with college admissions.

still waiting on the financial aid email…

I’m an int’l student and I heard from a friend that is currently at UW that being able to see my official transcript would mean that I’ve been accepted. I’ve got a student number and it says my major. I’ve already told my friends that I’ve been accepted so hopefully it does mean that I am, or I’ll look like an ass, which is never nice.
If all rejection/acceptances are being sent out by conventional mail and not by e-mail, then God knows when I’ll get mine. It will probably take at least 2 weeks, which isn’t helpful. Maybe I should call the university later and ask them if the unofficial transcript actually means something so I don’t get my hopes up and get rejected next month…

As for the majors, i think it’s just general. As you can see everyone who has had their major updated is listed under ‘pre-whatever’, so I think languages go under humanities, and compsci goes under pre-science, so I wouldn’t worry if it’s not exactly what you applied for.

Hey. Any of you guys take a highschool college course and get a change? Mine still says non-matriculated still and its killing me

UW was a slight tinyyy reach (I think) for me. I’m an OOS student with a 3.53 GPA (in CA my GPA is a 3.7 uw 3.9 w, but in Washington they count freshmen year …) and an 1830 on my SAT. I think it was my essays and my leadership positions that saved me. My essays were about a heart surgery I had and my annual trips to my tribe’s reservation. I had really good leadership positions that I wrote about like student body VP, editor in chief of the school newspaper and literary magazine, etc.
Still have to get that letter before I’m 100%, though. Haha.

Is there a way to get the MyUW logon information at this point? or do I just need to wait until letters arrive?

Okay anna if you’re in then I should be in, @cheng. If you read previous posts we were talking about this. I and many others are in the same boat as you, our majors still say non matric, but under the “status” section it lists all our main hs courses, math science etc and the number of years we had taken them, that is a new thing. Does yours show that?

AHHH! My unofficial transcript showed up w/ a FA number! No letter yet (I live in Eastern WA) but HECK YEAH!

BTW, like a previous poster on this thread, “levels” for my foreign language and math showed up on the unofficial transcript. Anybody know what this means?

are all the transcripts loaded or are more coming up? I don’t understand the “two week time frame” if they already sent out ALL letters

@sahjiahn. I have reason to believe more are still coming because yesterday, peoples transcripts were loading all at various times. They give a 2 week time frame to allow time for people that live far away, international students or any other odd reasons a letter may take a while.

I just called UW to try to get logon. Don’t think it’s good news. The registrar’s office told me I didn’t have a student ID assigned because I wasn’t yet a student, had just applied. I won’t qualify for Financial Aid but didn’t get an email about that either.

I was very hopeful because I was invited to a three day visit in the fall - completely unsolicited.

3.8 UW GPA, AP classes throughout HS, Running Start, Several Activities, part time job, volunteer work but mediocre SAT (1500).
