Just got my acceptance letter in the mail!

It comes in a normal sized, gold envelope with “The BIG Envelope” on the front.
It says:

“Congratulations! With great pleasure I offer you admission to the University of Washington Class of 2015. I am confident that you will benefit from the astounding range of academic and social possibilities at the University of Washington, and contribute to the rich intellectual and cultural vitality that distinguishes this remarkable university.”

It goes on to say that everyone accepted will soon receive a Welcome packet with more details soon.

Also, for all of you that were asking, I too was a UW in the High School student and my transcript still says nonmatriculated so don’t worry :)

I live in Enumclaw, WA which is about an hour away from UW.

Good luck to all of you!

Congrats. Has your unofficial transcript loaded? And if so, at what time?

@icandividebyzero. Same boat as you, as lots of others are. My trancript lists the courses too but it looks like it will say non matric even if we do get accepted, as what the guy above me says.

Well since I took UW classes in high school, my unofficial transcript always loaded. It also lists my classes language and math “levels” along with my test scores, but I dont know if the were there before.

william - did you receive a financial aid email?

No, I didn’t apply because I wouldn’t get anything :/

To: william00

Did you get the financial email yesterday? Our mail does not come till 2pm…hard to wait!

oops…I see your answer now!

Okay so I didn’t get a letter yesterday so I’m expecting one to come today… It seems like those who got rejected got their letters yesterday, so one would be inclined to believe that PERHAPS I didn’t get rejected, but my unofficial transcript hasn’t loaded yet!!! Idk what to believe. The mail man will come in the next few hours… Fingers crossed!!!

Good luck ilikeUW - S is in the exact same situation.

I just called the admissions office and asked if there was anyway we could find out whether we’ve been accepted online, he said no. I mentioned the unofficial transcript and the student number, he said everyone gets that.
I don’t know if it’s because i wanted it to sound that way but he seemed hesitant, like he wasn’t sure what to say about the unofficial transcript bussines. I may be overanalysing but I have a feeling it’s a flaw, and they weren’t supposed to make unofficial transcripts available to us yet and they’re trying to hide that, because they’re insisting that the only way we can find out is by mail. When you think about it, why would we get a student number if we haven’t been accepted, if a student number is clearly only for students?

I’m curious if anyone that’s been a previous uw student and it says non matric has got the financial aid email. Cause I know for sure I qualify for it, but I have yet to receive it. Anyone with previous uw class get the email?

@bothellcougar if you mean college-in-the-high-school, then yes, I got a financial aid email. And it still says non-matriculated.

Okay, man I still haven’t got the email. I’m concerned about that.

I am from southern california
On My UW it says nothing about student ID’s or anything. UW is my top and I applied to Seattle. I just want to know, I dont want to wait!

Does anyone have a way to see my student ID or my transcript. I am kind of confused on what you are talking about.

i think i got in. i see my student ID and my unofficial transcript. im in right

read the posts in the last 34 pages lol.

Are any of the transcripts still loading? I tried calling the admissions office, and I was connected to someone who said that all unofficial transcripts load for all applicants, but he said he didn’t know for sure. He transferred me to a counselor, which lead to voicemail, so I didn’t leave a message.

whoever you talked to misinformed you. your unoffical transcript won’t load unless you’re a student. they wouldn’t want to waste their time setting up a profile and assigning you a student id if you aren’t a student (or taking a class through the uw)
