I still don’t have one… and it’s not giving me anything on unofficial status.

does anyone know how to check this if i already have a student ID and unofficial transcript due to UW in the high school program?

because right now i already have a number and unofficial transcript, so i don’t know what i’m suppose to be looking for as an indication of admission…

@solstice21 the info should change from non matriculated and class to your major and freshman, at least that’s what I think.

k @solstice21 i think that means ur in because for like most of us we dont have student numbers and the unofficial transcript doesnt load. gahh lucky!

@mailmemarina I took UW Spanish 103 in my high school so I have a number. Sorry if I got your hopes up (or down) lol

i don’t think anyone who hasn’t taken a class at UW has gotten any sort of indication whatsoever so no worries… yet.

As far as I know, seeing a student ID in the financial aid status page is suficient to understand that you’re accepted.

I have the ID number on my fin aid status page… but it says I don’t have any awards for the 2010-2011 year. Maybe that’s because I’m taking the Spanish class

hahaha @2plus2equals5 thats good. i was a lil worried that i didnt get it. what are ur guys’ stats

yeah that could be why as well… hahaha i feel im extremely borderline; i only have a 3.23 unweighted (30 semesters of honors/ap), a 31 ACT, good essays, but who the heck knows. If only they accepted first semester grades then I would have had a better chance.

ok, so im looking for a change in the major on the unofficial transcript then? thanks i’ll be refreshing all of tonight then… are you guys sure it’ll be out at midnight? because they might not be sending the mail on the 15th exactly for everyone, so they might not change it quite yet… i just hope no one will feel super upset thinking they didn’t get in when their status was just not updated as soon as expected.

In state
3.9 unweighted GPA
2110 SAT (730 math, 690 CR, 690 W)
31 ACT
AP exams and scores: APUSH 4, Calc AB 5, Chem 3, Eng Lang 3
Currently taking AP Lit, AP US Gov, AP stats

@nymets, I wouldn’t feel too bad about your stats. Are you in-state? I have a 3.4 unweighted gpa with 5 AP/Honors/Running Start classes, 27 ACT, 1770 SAT, good extracurriculars (film club, fbla leader, siff volunteer, hours, clubs, etc.), cross country, and such. I spent about three months writing my UW essay!!! Let’s see if it will pay off! Anyways, your 31 ACT score is very strong so don’t lose hope. As long as you didn’t blow off your essays, I think you have a chance.

omg @2plus2equals5 ur a freakin genious. ur obviously in.
and a 5 on calc ab holy ****!

in state
3.67 unweighted
1960 SAT
AP Eng Lang 3

haha i feel so dumb. wahh

I’ve refreshed this page probably 100 times a minute.

@grigg02 Yeah, I certainly didn’t blow off my essays; I believe I used one about my experiences in an anti-bullying program, and the other about my move to california after sophomore year of high school… and since I moved to California, that would make me OOS lol. Hopefully it’s good enough, but I’m not expecting anything, especially since I was rejected by UT-Austin, but accepted to UW-Madison (figures they’re the same exact rank on USNWR)

I don’t blame you haha, the UW subforum has definitely seen more user activity now that decisions are soon.

@mailmemarina but my essays were generic and ECs decent, but nothing that stands out. So I’m genuinely worried

Might as well throw up my stats for the hell of it,
Out of State
3.3 unweighted ( gradual progression with a 2.6 freshman year and 4.0 senior thus far)
32 ACT (34 if not for that stupid english section that facerolled me)
Fairly strong essays mostly focusing on the diversity of growing up with a lesbian mother adapted from my UC apps.
Hoping I can get in… However still not showing online.

@nymets, Congrats on your acceptance to UW-Madison! That’s an amazing school; my cousin goes there. I applied there but, unfortunately, I didn’t get in. However, I did get into Penn State University Park, which I’m pretty stoked about but I seriously just want to go to UW because it’s close to my favorite city in this country, Seattle. I’ll just be a little disappointed if I have to leave for Penn State because I’m going to leave everything behind. Anyway, good luck and I hope you get in!
