I’ve been following these posts since Monday night and decided to jump in… Live 15 mins from UW. Nothing in the mail. No email either. Finaid status shows year 2010-2011 (I didn’t apply for 2010-2011, so I don’t get it) and all zeros for my student id. Unofficial transcript page won’t load. There were no UW in HS at my school. GPA 3.6. A few AP classes. FT Running Start + halftime HS classes. I’ll have my AA in June when I graduate HS. 1980 SAT. Essays wellwritten, but maybe not on a topic they were impressed with. Church leadership, a few jv sports, decent volunteer hours, club/team involvement but no “presidencies” or anything. I dunno…</p>

<p>Ok i have a 3.6 with a 2080 …if a girl with as u said virak 14 somethign got in…what is WRONG WITH THE UNIVERSEEEEEEEE??? uwaaaaaaaaa!!! =( SIghh…anyways my stats really quick: 2080, 3.6, IB Diploma, Stem Cell internship at UW’s Stem Cell Core (research assistant), Founded own organization for math clubs all over the state, math club president, TOP JV Tennis, SOccer coach for 2 years, Soccer player for 8, Teach Hindi and Indian culture at Lake Washington Tech College on Sundays, play the Harmonium and Hinustani vocals for 4 years, also part of national level Bhangra (dance) team with professional adult performers for 4 years (also went to int’l). NOt to mention over like 1500 hours of community service. National Honor Society, PCS debate winner, Reflections State finalist for visual arts and writing, can speak 4 languages, secretary of Huge Community organization, Run Events all over washington state, and help out with national bone marrow campaigns when i have free time. sighhhh…i feel so dejected right now. ='(</p>
<p>The voice mail message at UW Admissions says decisions are still being made and letters might be going out up to 3/30.</p>
<p>congrats to all the acceptances! i called the admissions office and asked about the unofficial transcript rumor and the lady just said “alot of people have been asking us this and i dont think it has anything to do with it”. who knows, maybe she didnt want to give it away but that is what the admissions office said. do people have proof that the unofficial transcript means something? otherwise for those of you who dont have a loaded transcript i wouldnt sweat!</p>

<p>I am like most of you guys. I live in WA and I still haven’t heard back from UW. I haven’t checked my mail today but doesn’t seem likely that there will be any mail. I thought I had pretty decent stats for UW- 3.58 uw GPA (honors/ap classes) and a 2020 SAT score. It kinda sucks to not know yet when a lot of people have already gotten in and some of those people have equal or even lesser stats. Plus my essay was really unique and I put a lot of time into it.</p>

<p>I’m in the same boat as everyone in Washington that hasn’t gotten ANYTHING in the mail, no student number, and no unofficial transcript. My UW gpa is 3.67 with several APs, SAT score 1960, and tons of community service. I honestly don’t get why people with worse stats than me are getting their “Big Envelopes” in the mail and I’m not getting ****. I’m praying that i at least got wait listed because if not this is actually ridiculous.</p>

<p>Hey guys. My unofficial transcript doesn’t load, nor have I received a letter from UW. I live in WA, have a 3.55 unweighted GPA, 1900 SAT score, some AP/honors classes, and five years of volunteer experience. My essays were fairly strong (or so I thought). I’m also involved with music, attend a weekly Korean culture/language school, etc. This is driving me absolutely insane, although I’m guessing I’ll be rejected… 
My application probably doesn’t stand out enough since my stats aren’t that great compared to others’. Sigh…</p>
<p>@cudicudi i have like really similar stats to you and i’m half asian so i put Japanese. i think it’s just a bad year for asians because i know a lot of mediocre white people getting in haha</p>
