JUST GOT MY ACCEPTANCE IN THE MAIL <3
I love the world.

Ckr. I am sorry to hear that, but good job getting into UCLA! That’s a better school anyway, or at least higher ranked.

I’m still waiting… still waiting… STILL WAITING.

Ohh, the agony. The answers to the following questions may have been previously posted, but for those of you who got their ID and loaded transcript, was it at any particular time of the day? And has anyone been accepted who never received a financial aid email/ID/loaded transcript beforehand?

The answer to that has been probably been answered at least once on each page of this 47 page thread.

Maybe I don’t have the time to sort through 47 pages, but thanks!

In. Nor Cal. the golden envelope in the mail

4.1W 2170 SAT

@ indianrain
Not saying that you didn’t get in but I recently said something The Week which said that kids slight their chances if they list a lot of extracurriculars which it kind of sounds like you did

I’ve said it a lot, but I’ll reiterate:
ACCEPTED … 3.53 GPA and 1830 SAT
Bay Area, Ca

I think I read in the other thread that UW admissions are STILL making decisions? You’d think after 3-4 months with our apps that they would have made one already… Guess not haha. In the case that my app is still being decided on, at least it made it this far. Right…?

Brotein shake, just chill. You’ll get your decision soon, and based on the stats posted I’m sure you have a good chance of getting in. Just relax-go play video games or hang with some friends or do homework or something.

you know what, never mind I retract what I said, Indianrain, it was inconsiderate of me and I really don’t even know why I thought to mention it.

I live in San Diego. Today one of my friends got rejected, and so far i have seen nothing on FB about acceptances. (A good amount of kids applied.)

I have still not revived anything, but hoping on an acceptance. Do people still think rejections where sent before acceptances?

@ucla, no. People in California have started to receive acceptances according to this thread.

Accepted. OOS - Virginia. Letter postmarked 15th and received today. My unofficial transcript loaded on the 15th. GPA - 3.90 (UW), 4.0 (W), SAT - 2060 (710 M, 690 R, 660 W), SATII: Math 2 - 750 , Chem - 680, US Hist - 640. ACT - 31. AP Courses: Calc A/B (5), Calc B/C (4), AP Stat, AP Chem, AP Physics, AP Govt, AP Language. Good luck to all.

anyone from Arizona … any letters yet ?

anyone in WA still getting letters?

Rejected in California.

I havent heard from anyone in my area of WA, but lots a cali people though

To those who have heard NOTHING, nothing at all:

I’m thinking that the reason some people have not heard anything at all is because UW is most likely (just speculation here) sending letters out in batches.

However, we’ve heard that someone says the admissions office claims they sent all the letters on the 15th. My other guess is that the POST OFFICE in U District is taking a while sorting through them. Thinking about it - would it be feasible for the post office to be able to handle the sudden, abnormal amount of mail all in one day? They probably divided letters into groups and are handling them one group at a time.

EDIT: For clarity - This is complete speculation on my part.

got my acceptance mail today. live on east coast usa
