But what about an American applicant living outside the US? Ie not an ‘international student’ per se .The info on S’s MyUW says clearly that the decision is coming by postal mail though his address is in the UK. I was hoping for an email but since the unofficial transcript never uploaded, I’m assuming it’s bad news. Good luck to anyone else still waiting to hear.'

Maybe they really are sending yours via snail mail. They may be deciding upon the delivery method merely by the residency status, not by place of residency.

By the way my myUW status also states that my decision will be sent via postal mail, but I received an email from them.

@ OMGMIT - Did your uo transcript upload ?

Yes. I was one of the first ones to have his UO transcript uploaded.

Cool and congrats :D

@brendonca
Have you heard anything yet?

@teemo321

Nothing!! I have no idea what to make out of this. No email/letter/transcript. I dont think anything will be updated today cos its sunday. Wbu ?

I’m from Illinois and got mine on the 18th

@iignac i assume its an acceptance?

yup. do you know when welcome packets come in the mail and/or financial aid? My parents are not set on UW, but I am so I was just wondering if anyone knew? Btw how about you virak125? Hopefully you got in too??! =D

I am not sure about your first question because I need to get accepted first lol. Thanks I hope so too… as of right now still in waiting period.

Sigh…What is this?! No mail/Unofficial transcript/email…
It’s okay to reject me, but at least tell me :(

@BrendonCa
me neither, don’t worry, stay positive, keep calm and carry on:)

Unofficial transcript didn’t load and I got my acceptance letter!! 3.2 gpa 1570 sat. Caucasian. I’m so happy!!!

I live in Sammamish. Not sure if they finished delivering all letters in my area. But anyways it seems competition between instate students is higher than OOS. People from OOS and low stats are getting in…

Oh yeah forgot to say. OOS

Congrats @fogee! And thanks for telling us about ur unofficial transcript :)

All those who didn’t have their transcript load, there is still hope. Unofficial transcript doesn’t mean anything.

“There is going to be a second wave of acceptances, rejections, and waitlists.”- office of admissions staff.

@fogee where did you hear that from?
