Hey guys,
These are my ISEE scores:
Quantitive Reasoning- 99th percentile
Mathematics Achievement- 97th percentile
Verbal Reasoning- 89th percentile
Reading comprehension- 71st percentile
Avg- 89th percentile
These are my SSAT scores:
Verbal: 60
Quantitative: 90
Reading: 94
Total Percentile: 86
So I had gotten my ISEE scores a couple weeks ago and got those turned in for the schools that I was applying to. I just got the SSAT scores back recently and I’m wondering if I should turn those in. I know that the schools I’m applying to-including Andover, Hotchkiss, Choate, L’ville, etc.- prefer the SSAT, but is worth the risk turning the SSAT in (considering the 60 in verbal and the overall lower percentile) or should I stick with my ISEE scores to keep my chances up?
I would just send your ISEE scores, particularly because the schools you listed don’t accept the Feb SSAT and your score is also lower on the SSAT, ultimately you are in the range regardless. Don’t stress to much about either of your scores because if you get in, it will not be due to your score and if you don’t get in, it also won’t be because of your scores.
Wow, I would not send in those SSAT scores, given that your others are in much higher. Looks like your reading comprehension is holding down your SSAT scores a lot. Good that you took both.
