I will be transferring from community college to UCSD in the fall as a math major. Due to personal circumstances last spring, I received two C's from a community college math department in Introductory Statistics and Calc III. (The stats course wasn't foundational, or even a prereq for my major, but it is labeled as part of the math dept.) My community college GPA will be ~3.73.

How much of a worry should this be when it comes to grad school admissions? I understand and enjoy math. I've been reading texts by Munkres and Eccles in my spare time, and have experience as a math tutor. If I get mostly A's at UCSD, manage to get internships and/or research experience, and do well on GRE's, how much is screwing up one semester of community college going to matter? Could I have a shot at a top 25 grad school? Top 50?
