<p>i'm trying to transfer to their biochem undergrad program</p>

<p>hs stats:
GPA: 3.5
SAT: 800 math, 650 verbal, total 1450</p>

<p>college stats:
GPA: 2.3</p>

<p>i don't even know how my grades in college is so low compared to those in hs. i don't know what happened but there's pretty much nothing i can do about it now. i'm also a pa resident.</p>

<p>do you think they'll take my SAT into consideration at all? i really hope so....</p>

<p>i'm taking biochem right now at penn state and so far i have a 94% in the class.</p>

<p>do you guys think i have a chance or should i not even bother applying?</p>

<p>You should easily get into Temple. They take into account your high school course work as well. I don't think they look at SAT scores after 15 credits though.</p>

<p>College GPA, they really want a 2.5. They don't look at hs record for transfer students. If there was a good reason for the low GPA in college, explain that to the admissions people in a letter or essay. They might give you a break if they think it won't happen again.</p>

<p>I am interested in applying to temple as well and i wanted to know what are my chances becuase i have a ged but i finished my 1st yr of college and I have a 3.05 GPA for my GED I scored 2560 but my hs records are not that good what do yall think my chance of gettin in is like???..Im trying to work hard on my admissions essay so if i can recieve help with that to it will be greatly appreciated </p>
